A graduate of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Dr. Rob Martin, along with his wife Melody, son Kyle, and daughter Ashley, have called West Plains home since Dr. Martin completed his Family Practice residency in Wichita, KS, in 1990. His daughter Ashley was born in 1991. Since his arrival in 1990, Dr. Martin has been very active in the community and hospital. He has been chief of the Medical Staff at Ozarks Medical Center and has served on the Hospital Board for six of his 15 years in the community.

    Dr. Martin has provided leadership in the role of team Physician for the Southwest Missouri State University West Plains athletic program. He has served as captain of the Docs' team in the Docs vs. Jocks annual fundraising basketball game since its inception in 1999.

    He and his family are very proud to be part of this community, the Medical staff of this community, and especially proud to be part of the team at Burton Creek Medical Clinic and Complex.
