
Larry R. Kennon is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) at the Burton Creek South Walk-in Clinic. While he has been at Burton Creek for three years, he has been an NP for 20 years. He took his nursing training at Barnes Hospital School of Nursing in 1969. He completed his Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Southeast Missouri State and did his NP training at the University of Missouri.
Larry Kennon is married and has two sons and two stepdaughters. He lives with his wife on their farm outside of Lanton, MO. He served in the US Army as a medic from 1964 to 1967. He retired from the Army Nurse Corp as a Major in 1999.
Besides work and family, Kennon loves the outdoors and is an avid bow hunter. If he's not at work, you will find him outdoors. He enjoys the work and the people of Burton Creek Clinic and is proud to be part of the staff.
