West Plains Open MRI:

Offering quality MRI scanning for the Ozarks with emphasis on timely services to the patient and their physician, as well as a full range of open MRI services. MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a method used by physicians to look inside the human body to obtain images of the anatomy. An MRI exam will usually last from about 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the type of exam ordered by your physician. No special preparation is required for an MRI exam. All that is required of you is to be as still as possible during the exam. Going to sleep is fine, and patients may feel free to bring their own CD to listen to. An MRI exam is effective in the clinical evaluation of the following conditions: brain disorders, traumatic injuries, eye abnormalities, spine diseases, tumor detection, knee and shoulder injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, facial/neck abnormalities, infection, and blood flow disorders of the brain and neck.
