LuAnn McKee, LCSW

LuAnn McKee graduated from SMSU (Missouri State University) with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work in 1996. She then completed her Masters of Social Work Degree at the University of Missouri, Columbia. During her years of schooling she continued to work in the Children’s Services Division of the Department of Family Services in both Howell and Green Counties in case management and Child Abuse and Neglect Investigations and completed a practicum at what is now Turning Leaf Adult Treatment Center. In 2003, LuAnn began working at Behavioral Healthcare for the Department of Mental Health for the Crisis Intervention Team covering an eight county area. After completing licensure requirements, she began her therapy practice at Behavioral Healthcare in 2005. During that time, she facilitated healing through individual, family, and group therapy. She practiced at Behavioral Healthcare until June 2010 when she came to Burton Creek Medical Clinic. LuAnn McKee resides outside of West Plains and enjoys time with her three adult children and 13 grandchildren. Ms McKee enjoys all clients regardless of age, gender, social status, ethnic background, or mental health status and has a strong interest in substance abuse treatment and relationship and family dynamics.
