    Burton Creek Medical Complex of West Plains: Proudly upholding the tradition of excellence and service since 1958. Using the most modern technology, the Burton Creek staff still wants the patient to feel as if they have a friend for a doctor.

    The tradition was begun by Marvin L. Fowler, MD. His clinic of family physicians was founded in West Plains in 1958. Since then, the clinic has grown to five Family Doctors (obstetrics included), four Family Nurse Practitioners, an Orthopedic Surgeon, a General Surgeon, a Dermatologist, a team of Nephrologists, two Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and three Pharmacists. Technical services offered at Burton Creek are the Open MRI, bone mineral density, the Gentlelase Laser, obstetrical ultrasound, nerve conduction studies, and lab, x-ray and pathology.
